Effective September 10, 2026

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how EZZlisting.com ("EZZ," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use ezzlisting.com and related services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to this Policy.

2. Information we collect

We collect information you provide and information generated as you use the Service:

  • Account information: your name, email address, and password (stored only as a secure hash).
  • Business information: listings, descriptions, hours, photos, service areas, and job or gig postings you create.
  • Reviews and content: ratings, reviews, replies, and any other content you submit.
  • Job applications: your name, email, phone, and message when you apply to a posting.
  • Payment information: handled by our payment processor (Stripe). We do not store your full card number.
  • Usage data: pages viewed, searches, and interactions, used to operate and improve the Service.
  • Device and log data: IP address, browser type, and similar technical information.

3. How we use your information

  • To provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
  • To create and display business listings, reviews, and job or gig postings.
  • To process payments and manage subscriptions.
  • To send transactional messages (for example, password resets and job-application notifications).
  • To send marketing emails you can opt out of at any time.
  • To prevent fraud, enforce our terms, and comply with legal obligations.

4. Information that is public

Business listings, reviews, owner replies, and job or gig postings are public by design — they are meant to be found by consumers and may appear in search engines. Do not include information in a listing or review that you do not want shown publicly.

5. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only:

  • With service providers who help us operate the Service (for example, hosting, email delivery, and payment processing), under contract.
  • When a job or gig posting receives an application, the application details are shared with the business that posted it.
  • To comply with the law, respond to legal requests, or protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the Service.
  • In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice where required.

6. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand how the Service is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; some features may not work without them.

7. Data retention
